It depends on each shoot. There is minimum amount on each shoot that I promise but it is 99% more than that.
I photograph in colour, but during editing I may convert certain images to black and white if it enhances their look and feel.

I love natural light, and work mostly with just natural light. But sometimes you need a kiss of the flash to add to the image. That's where big, soft lighting comes in.

I retain the copyright on all images for commercial purposes. You are welcome to share them with family, enter them into competitions, or print them for personal use. However, if a third party—such as a venue, brand, or publication—wishes to use the photos for advertising or commercial purposes, they’ll need to contact me to discuss usage rates. I also reserve the right to feature selected images from your family session on my website, social media, and in marketing materials. If there’s a sensitive reason why you prefer not to have your photos shared publicly—whether it’s privacy concerns or something more dramatic—please let me know, and I’ll gladly respect your wishes.
Also known as ‘editing,’ this is a vital part of what I offer in family photography. I focus on keeping your images as natural and true-to-life as possible, simply enhancing the colours and contrast to bring out the warmth, connection, and mood of your family moments.
No, I keep your photos as true to the day as possible. I don’t do extreme retouching or change how people look—I prefer to capture and preserve your family just as you are. Detailed alterations also take considerable time, which would increase costs.
On family shoots I don't charge a booking fee. If you and I agree on a date that date will be kept on my side.
Depends on the season. December can fill up quickly. If your schedule fixed confirm dates as soon as you can. If you are flexible I can take last minute bookings.
1. Please check the exact date first. I prefer email as I am not always at my computer to check my diary.
2. Upon confirmation of availability, please confirm from you side.
3. You are then booked
4. You are also more then welcome to come and chat first before you book.
5. Please check in with me 2 days before the shoot so that we can check the weather and discuss alternatives if needed.
I take about 10 days. When its high season it can take a bit longer. (21 days)
Payment is due on the day of the shoot. That can be done after the shoot.
I have various payment options.
For local clients
1. I prefer EFT. (lowest banking costs)
2. Credit card payments (3% transaction charge to be added)
For overseas clients:
1. International transfer (3% bankcosts charge to be added).
2. Credit card payments (3% transaction charge to be added)
3. Cash on the day
4. Bitcoin (3% Bankcosts charge to be added)
Yes.
No, I do a range of photography. See the commercial and wedding section on my website.
I try to keep the photos but hard drives does fail over time. Once delivered to you I do suggest that once you received your disc that you make your own back-ups.
I keep copies of every shoot at least 60 days after the photos have been handed over to the client. After that the onus is on the client to back-up their photos.
After 600 shoots I haven’t missed a single shoot. Not planning to do so soon, Although I can’t promise anything, I will do my utmost best to get an excellent photographer in my place if need be.
