Bride waiting

The Lucky shot – Time slows down

I think it was Einstein that said: Time is relative… At weddings, it feels this way. Everything flies by. 8 Hours feels like 8 minutes. That’s why people always say enjoy every moment.
Liesel was ready early. When I got there she was good to go. (As Joey from Friends would say). We did some shots inside and outside.
At some point, me and Ingrid (the bridesmaid) were both on our own mission. I was moving gear to the car.  I walked past the room. Ingrid forgot the door open. And there she stood. Liesel was waiting.
Happy.  Excited. Content.
It was as if time stood still for a bit.
It was the moment she had been waiting for so long. I took the photo knowing it was one of those special moments.  This is what life is all about.
Finally, Einstein’s theory went the other way.
