Champagne Day with Moët & Chandon
I recently had the pleasure of photographing another spectacular Moët & Chandon event — this time in Sandton, Gauteng, on a picturesque polo field that perfectly matched the elegance of the occasion.
This event marked Champagne Day, a global celebration of sparkling sophistication — and Moët knows exactly how to do it in style. Guests were treated to an unforgettable experience, with the centrepiece being Moët’s world-famous hot air balloon, which travels the globe as a floating symbol of celebration and grandeur. Seeing it rise over the field added an extraordinary sense of scale and magic to the day.
As one of Moët’s regular photographers, I understand how vital imagery is to their brand. These events are meticulously curated to generate maximum visual impact across social media, especially with influencers and high-profile guests in attendance.
Despite challenging lighting conditions — fluctuating between open skies and golden-hour glow — my focus was to create polished, vibrant, and shareable content that reflects the luxury and energy of the brand. Every image captured needed to be publication-ready, worthy of appearing in international press, brand campaigns, and across countless influencer feeds.
From luxury to logistics, photographing Moët events is always an adventure — and one I’m proud to be a part of.
