Which background suits your brief?
All on-location sessions include a portable grey backdrop setup at no extra charge. You can mix backgrounds in the same session — most corporate teams use grey for consistency and add environmental shots for warmth.

Want an interior feel? I can suggest properties to book as a location. Typically one or two distinctive looks per property — more variety than a fixed studio setup.

The questions I get asked most before a session — if yours isn't here, just message me.
What should I wear for a corporate headshot?
Solid, mid-tone colours photograph best — they keep the focus on your face rather than the outfit. Avoid busy patterns, bright logos and pure white or neon. Bring one or two options if you're unsure; for personal branding sessions you're welcome to bring a few changes. If you're booking a team, I'll send a short wardrobe guide you can forward to everyone so the set looks consistent.
How long does a headshot session take?
Individual studio sessions run about 30 minutes per person. For on-location team shoots I work to a running order you give me beforehand, so people drop in, get photographed in a few minutes, and head straight back to their desks — most teams lose almost no working time. Personal branding sessions are booked as 90 minutes or 2 hours depending on how many looks you need.
Do you photograph individuals, or only corporate teams?
Both. Corporate and team shoots are the core of my work, but individuals are always welcome — single sessions run at my Pinehurst, Durbanville studio, are pre-booked, and I will always make a plan around your schedule. Whether you need a LinkedIn profile shot, a personal branding set or one great professional portrait, get in touch and we will sort out a time.
I'm not photogenic and I hate being in front of a camera. Can you still help?
This is the most common thing people tell me, and it's exactly why they hire me. I photograph families and corporate events too, so I'm used to directing people who feel awkward — I'll guide your posing, your expression and where to look, step by step. You don't need to know what to do; that's my job. Most clients are surprised by how quick and relaxed it actually is.
How does an on-location team shoot work?
I come to your office with a full five-light setup and a portable grey backdrop, so you don't need a studio — just a quiet corner of about 2×2 metres and a power point. You send me a running order, I photograph each person, and proofs are delivered for everyone to choose from. Two beauty-edited finals per person are included, delivered in both high-res and web sizes so your website and LinkedIn match.
How soon do we get the photos back?
You'll receive proofs to make your selections from, and final beauty-edited images are delivered within 2–3 working days once selections are in. If you're working to a website launch or a deadline, tell me upfront and I'll prioritise the turnaround.
Do you travel, or do we come to you?
Both. My studio is in Durbanville for individual sessions, and for teams I travel to you across the Northern Suburbs, Cape Town CBD, Tyger Valley, Century City, Stellenbosch and the wider Western Cape. Any travel cost is quoted transparently upfront — no surprises on the invoice.
