How It Works
Proper Lighting Makes the Difference
Group photography lives or dies on the lighting. A phone camera or office overhead light leaves half the group in shadow and the other half washed out. I bring proper studio lighting to the shoot — on-location at your premises or at the studio for smaller groups — so every person in the frame looks like they were meant to be there.
On-Location or Studio
On-location is the preferred option for larger teams. We come to your premises, set up, and work through the groups in one organised session. Minimal disruption, everyone stays in their environment.
Studio works well for smaller groups — up to about four or five people comfortably. Clean grey background, controlled light, efficient session.
What the Session Covers
Group portraits in different configurations (full team, department groups, leadership team, etc.), consistent lighting and edit style across all shots, and multiple setups depending on your tier. If you want individual headshots for each team member on the same day, that's a separate quote — get in touch and we'll put together a combined session plan.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many people can you shoot in one session?
A Tier 4 session (two hours) handles up to five different group setups — full staff shot, leadership team, department groups. For very large groups or full portrait days with individual headshots, get in touch and we'll plan it properly.
Do you come to our office?
Yes, for Tiers 3 and 4. I bring the equipment, set up on your premises, and we work through the session there. You don't need any special space — I'll assess what's available when we confirm the booking.
What background options are available?
On-location we work with what your environment offers — a wall, boardroom, reception, or outside. At the studio, a clean grey background is the standard option for group work.
Can we mix group shots and individual headshots in the same session?
Yes, but this needs to be planned upfront as it affects timing and pricing. Mention it when you get in touch and I'll quote for the combined session.
What should everyone wear?
Solid colours over patterns, and a coordinated palette makes the group look cohesive. Company-branded clothing works if everyone has it. I'll give you a brief note to share with the team beforehand.
