– I (Riekert Cloete) the photographer retains full “commercial” copyright on all photographs taken for commercial purposes. This means I can use the photos for promotional purposes including internet , competitions and all printed and electronic media.This will be done with discretion. If this is a problem, please mention this to me in the consultation. I have no issues keeping your photos confidential.
– Please arrange a friend/best man to join us during the couple shoot. If this can’t be done please let me know so that I can arrange an assistant for the day.
– Please cater for me a main course meal. Where I possible I would like to eat the same time as the couple so ensure I don’t miss on “moments”
– Please ensure that all formalities that you want to be captured have happened within your package time frame. Overtime is R1500 per hour. Ensure that your MC is aware of this.
– Consultations normally take place on Monday evenings at my house in Durbanville free of charge. Should you want me to travel to another venue there will be an extra consultation fee of R500 as well as travel costs of R4 per km. This includes viewing of wedding venues. Please contact me for a time slot.
– Photographs will be available :
1. Digital Package – within three weeks.
2. Book Packages – Within 8 weeks
– Photos may be given to other service providers e.g. Venues, Service providers, wedding planners etc. They are only allowed to use the watermarked images and where possible I ask that they link back to my website. You are more than welcome to make copies of the photos for friends and family for non-commercial purposes.
– Courier delivery costs and bank costs (cash deposit) are not included. – Quotes older than 1 month are subject to change
– Editing done is basic color correcting and adjustments according to my discretion. “Beauty editing” within reason will be done on the bride. Use my photos on my website as a style guide.
Disclaimer: In the unlikely event that I get injured or become too ill to photograph the event, I will make every effort to secure a replacement photographer. If the situation should occur and a suitable replacement is not found, responsibility and liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the event package. I take the great care in processing your photographs, however in the unlikely event that photographs have been stolen or destroyed for reasons beyond my control, my liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the event package.
