Your guide to wedding venues in Cape Town and the Western Cape — from a photographer who has worked at most of them.

The first question most couples quietly want answered is a simple one: has my photographer been to my venue? After 500+ weddings since 2004, the answer is almost certainly yes. Find your venue below — if it’s on this list, I already know where the light falls when it matters.

A few things to note:

• I’ve personally photographed at about 90% of these venues. The remaining 10% I know well or have visited in person.
• This is a venue list, not a personal recommendation — please do your own due diligence and contact venues directly.
• Venues are listed by area, in no particular order within each region.
