Low light. Fast moments. A packed schedule with no second takes. Awards ceremonies are one of the most technically demanding event formats — the window for the trophy handshake is two seconds, and the lighting on most gala stages is not designed with photography in mind.

Many of Cape Town’s larger awards evenings and gala dinners are hosted at the CTICC — a venue I know well. If your ceremony is there, the logistics are already mapped out.

Awards ceremonies are a photography brief. A short social reel can be added as a premium add-on — but for full event video production, I'll refer you to a specialist. You don't want a compromised result on either.
