Chris and Christelle came all the way from Australia to get married here in Stellenbosch.
She is originally from South Africa but Chris is an Aussie so for him and his family it truly was a destination wedding!
This couple is super down to earth and is was an absolute pleasure to could have been part of their amazing day!
Nooitgedacht Estate, situated just outside Stellenbosch in the Western Cape of South Africa, has a rich history dating back to the 18th century.Â
The estate was originally established in 1774 when the farm was granted to Johannes Gijsbertus Serrurier. It became known for its agricultural productivity, particularly in wine production, which flourished under subsequent owners. In the 20th century, the estate underwent various transformations and changes in ownership, adapting to the economic and social shifts of the time.Â
Today, Nooitgedacht Estate is celebrated not only for its historical charm but also for its vineyards, which continue to produce quality wines, and its picturesque setting that attracts visitors for weddings, events, and tourism.
