Weddings in the CederbergShooting in the Western Cape is an absolute pleasure and every Saturday I do realise how lucky I am. But as with everything in life you sometimes get a bit used to it. So when Dean and Liezel told me about their wedding I could not wait for their big day! They got married in Clanwilliam and the reception was De Pakhuys farm. This spot is very popular among rock climbers. Not only did the two of them feel at home on the rocky landscape but the area at the most amazing cinematic scenes. Literally impossible to get average shots!! It was an absolute pleasure to work with them! Amazing people. Amazing venue! Question time! Trivia: Dean was a junior Olympic gymnast and is a great landscaper. We enjoy growing our own food. I am passionate about restoring mobility to people who lost their limbs, especially for those who live in rural areas. We enjoy rock climbing and love being active and outdoors. We believe that happiness is found in being content and grateful for what you have in life, and not taking each other for granted. How did you meet? We met at a community street braai and started chatting when I tried to interfere with how the fire was being made. On our first date, Dean fixed my bicycle and took me rock climbing… the rest is history.

Don’t give in to social expectations of what your wedding should be like. It is your day, and should reflect who you are as a couple. See their photos here
