Landscapes

Early in my career, couples kept telling me the same thing: yes, they wanted beautiful photos of themselves — but they also wanted something they could hang in the house as a piece of art. A landscape, with them in it. I have always loved photographing the Cape’s landscapes anyway, so it naturally became part of every couple session — and it is still one of the most requested things I do.

The idea is to show South Africa off without it ever going generic: the mountains, the vineyards, the big sky — and the two of you in the frame. It is proof of setting, the photograph that takes you straight back to that exact spot years later, and a proper chapter in the story of your wedding day.
