Couple Portraits
This is what the whole timeline protects: an hour, sometimes an hour and a quarter, of just the two of you. And by the time we slip away, I already know exactly where we're going — either I've shot your venue before (after 500+ Cape Town weddings, that covers most of the Western Cape) or I've walked the grounds that same day, scouting locations while I photographed the décor and the groom. Weather might reshuffle the plan on the day; it never derails it.
Then we multiply the hour. My car is at the venue, so instead of losing your time to walking, we drive — two or three locations, not too far apart, and the full variety at each: wide frames, close-ups, natural in-between moments. If the light and the timeline play along, we fold in the start of the sunset too — that's planned six months ahead, down to the minute. And you never have to perform: I pose you, I light it, the entourage has gone back to the party, and it's quiet. Just be together.
