Hours of your planning live in the small things, so they get photographed like they matter. While the bride is getting into her dress, I shoot the personal details — the rings, the bouquet, the shoes, the invitations. Whether there's also time for a proper décor session of the reception room depends on the package you book — and if it's in, one small thing makes it work: the venue needs to know when I'm arriving, and the room needs to be ready.
The best frame often comes just before the guests walk through: during pre-drinks the venue lights the candles, and a moody room finally photographs the way the stylist imagined it. I keep collecting details right through the day — the bride's, the groom's, the tables, the cake — because the goal is to document everything that went into your wedding day, not just the people in it.
